Every story prepared by the Teaching Kids News team uses appropriate language for students in grades 2 to 8. Beyond just making the vocabulary accessible, they provide context for everything in each news story, so students can understand what’s going on, and why. They are encouraged to think critically not only about the story itself, but about the way the story is presented.
