Information Evening

We will be holding an information evening this May 15 at 7PM at the auditorium for students, their families as well as for sports agencies and their coordinators. RSVP to sport-etudes@wqsb.qc.ca.

Presentation

A Sport-Études program is a partnership between a Québec sports federation, a school board & the Ministry of Education (MEES).

  • The entrance criteria, training schedule, and fees for the sport are decided by the sports federation;
  • The school decides the entrance criteria and the performance criteria thereafter;
  • The goal is to make it easier for elite athletes to balance the rigorous demands of training and academics.

Note: A Sport-Études program is different from a Sport Concentration program, which instead is a local arrangement/agreement between a school and local sports non-accredited organization. Hadley & Philemon Wright is not accepting any Sports Concentration students at this time.
