Dear Parents, Students and Employees,
I am writing to inform you of changes to the Western Québec School Board calendar following the cancellation of classes due to severe weather this past week.
To ensure we meet the required number of instructional days, some upcoming PD days will now be regular school days. Please note the updates below:
PD Days Changed to Regular School Days
- April 17 for Maniwaki Woodland and Dr. W. Keon School
- April 27 for Noranda School
- May 15 for Golden Valley School, Lord Aylmer School, and St. John’s Elementary
- April 17 for all other WQSB schools and centres
- Anishnabe Continuing Education Centre was not affected by class cancellations and will not adjust its scheduled PD day.
All students are expected to attend on these dates as classes will be conducted as usual. Transportation services will operate as usual.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we adjust our schedule to meet Ministry requirements for the number of instructional days. If you have any questions, please contact your school administration or the WQSB office.
