Consultation: Setting Commitments on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

The Western Quebec School Board’s JEDI Committee warmly invites parents/guardians, employees, commissioners, and members of the community to take part in an important collaborative development initiative focused on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Framework for Equity – Our Vision, Values and Commitments

This session is part of the school board’s work to develop a foundational DEI framework (similar to a policy but stronger with actions) that reflects the voices, experiences, and perspectives of our diverse community.

Participants will be invited to engage online in guided activities designed to help shape:

• A common vision
• Shared values and beliefs
• Meaningful commitments that will inform the school board’s DEI action plan

The feedback gathered will be used to develop the Framework for Equity, with the action plan to follow in collaboration with our DEI consultant.  The collection will end at noon on June 5th.
