Hadley & Philemon Wright High School Celebrates 2nd Annual Land Acknowledgement Festival
Organized in collaboration with the Bear Lodge Centre on May 8, 2026, the event brought together students, staff, and community members to honour and celebrate Indigenous voices, joy, and talent in a meaningful and engaging way.
The festival was very well attended and created a vibrant space for learning, reflection, and cultural appreciation. Its impact extended beyond the school community, as the event was also featured by ICI Radio-Canada, highlighting its significance and strong participation.
The Western Québec School Board congratulates everyone involved in making this important event such a success and looks forward to its continued growth in the years to come.
