There is growing recognition of the important role schools play in developing students’ social and emotional skills in order to foster their resilience and well-being. Increasingly the focus is on skills like responsible decision making, managing emotions and self-regulation, developing and maintaining positive relationships, self-awareness and restorative practices. Join us to learn more about the social and emotional learning (SEL) initiatives taking place in our schools and the ways we, as parents can support and foster the development of these skills in our children and ourselves.
