Concours d’Art Oratoire

What a great contest we had on Thursday, April 19! Many thanks to Philemon Wright High School who graciously hosted the 2018 Concours d’Art Oratoire.  There were many interesting and well-prepared speeches.

After the presentations, the judges, Tammy Gauthier (buildings, equipment and technology department), François Raymond (communications consultant), James Shea (chairman of the board of commissioners), Kate Smith (education consultant – teachers induction program), Caroline Turcotte (education consultant – French second language) and Rachel Vincent (office of the general directorate) had the difficult task of picking the top ranking speakers for each category.  After meeting and discussing the judges concluded the following

Well done to all the participants! The audience was captivated by the speeches and impressed by the readiness of the participants.

Special thanks to all of the teachers. Without their continued support, we would never be able to put on events like these,
