
Québec’s Ministry of Education will be leading its very first Violence and Bullying Prevention in Schools Week from March 17th to the 21st. The theme this year is Reinforcing respect and civility in our schools, and each day of the week will have a different topic of focus. The Ministry’s aim is to support the development of interpersonal skills and strategies that will create more harmonious and respectful interpersonal relationships, improving the overall school environment.
If your child reports an act of violence or bullying to you, please report this to the school administration immediately, regardless of how small you may perceive the incident to be. The source of the information is kept confidential during investigations to protect the safety of the victims and witnesses.
