The Western Québec School Board Partners with the “Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais” (CISSSO) for the ‘Allo project’

The yellow ID tag to help identify bilingual healthcare professionals

The Western Québec School Board is proud to partner with the “Centre intégré de santé et service sociaux de l’Outaouais” (CISSSO) for a worthwhile campaign that aims to help English-speaking users at hospitals and other health facilities in the region.  Launched in mid-September 2024, the project provides anglophone users with a quick and easy way to identify employees in the network who can help them navigate in English (e.g. someone who is not certain where to go for an appointment or simply looking for assistance in English). A bright yellow tag is being handed out to CISSSO staff who would like to take part in this project.  If you or a family member require healthcare or social services in the Outaouais region and would like to be able to identify staff members taking part in the project, look for the yellow tag. The Western Québec School Board commends CISSSO employees for their problem-solving initiative and dedication to serving the population of the Outaouais.
